A train of thought.

We all have thoughts, ideas, wants and desires which are driven by our passions, our hopes for a brighter future and our dreams.

It’s these thoughts that we talk about when we try to describe manifestation or the law of attraction. So what holds us back ? If it’s that easy, why aren’t we all manifesting brighter, happier life’s ?

Maybe  Sigmund Freud could help with his distinctions between the Conscious and the unconscious thoughts.
Freud divided our thoughts into the Conscious, pre-conscious and our unconscious. We know our conscious thoughts, we put them into action, we speak them and they are observed, listened to and witnessed by others. Even our pre-conscious thoughts are not entirely unconscious, they’re hovering in the background waiting for their time to become conscious.

So what’s my point ? How does this prevent us from reaching our potential ? Sigmund’s unconsciousness the repressed thoughts are possibly the key to this. Here’s where our ego comes into play. What I mean is, why are these thoughts repressed ?

Well the ego consists of all three consciousnesses. It controls which thoughts it allows out into the world, even when we sleep and dream. It chooses to cut of certain threads in the mind that combine our thoughts together. It does this to protect us so it doesn’t have to concern itself with the repressed unconscious with stands in opposition to the ego. So why does this matter?

The ego is not always right to repress these thoughts. Instead of protecting us it just holds us back.
This is what I believe is behind the meaning of the statement:

“Whatever you think the world is withholding from you, you are withholding from the world. “

(Eckhart Tolle)

When you are asked to do a task, something that makes you nervous. For example; a demonstration or presentation and you decide to opt out because you are scared , you may feel this resistance, withholding (repressed ) that I’m talking about. This is the resistance against the manifestation. So take a deep breath, be brave and take on the challenge.

A healthy mind, can help to achieve a healthy body. Creativity allows us focus and can give us purpose. Get those creative juices flowing and give yourself something to be proud of.

Building a healthy, strong body isn’t all about the hour’s spent in the gym and the hard work you put in. It’s also about the recovery after. Rest and a good nights sleep is essential. “There is virtue in work and there is virtue in rest. Use both and overlook neither.” (Alan Cohen)

If we become our thoughts ,  then know your worth, show gratitude for your life and appreciate your blessings. For this means happiness comes from within and starts with you. You will create what you think through your behaviour and actions.

“Think good, say good, do good.”

“Whatever you think the world is withholding from you, you are withholding from the world.”

(Eckhart Trolle)

“Your brain is a relentless shape shifter, constantly rewriting it’s own circuitry-and because your experiences are unique, so are the vast, detailed patterns in your neural networks. Because they continue to Change your whole life, your identity is a moving target; it never reaches an endpoint. “

( David Eagleman)

So think of yourself as a sculptor and you yourself will be the biggest project you will ever work on.

The Growth Mindset.

New Monday, new week, new goals.

Monday’s Motivation !

“When people believe in fixed traits they are in danger of being measured by failure. It can define them in a permanent way. “

(Carol S. Dweck)

We are not the sum of our successes and failures, we are on a continuous journey of growth and change. Learn to view your failures as gifts, learn from them, don’t let them make you shy away from reaching your true potential.

Mother Nature does not stop trying to grow because a wall is built on top of her. She’ll find her way through the cracks and continue to grow.

If we take better care of ourselves, we can then take better care of others.

The growth mindset.

Positive thoughts lead to positive actions, which produce positive results.

A little bit of spiritual well-being.
