I first started training with Kelly in August 2020 about 4 months after giving birth to my daughter during lockdown.

I can’t thank Kelly enough for her personal training sessions over the past 18 months.

Since starting my personal training sessions with Kelly over the last 18 months, I feel I have massively improved my fitness and confidence.

Recently Kelly has helped me achieve one of my fitness goals, which was taking part in a 5km park run and completing it in a time I was happy with. Without her encouragement and unwavering positivity, I would not have persisted with my running, and would have given up.

BUT with Kelly’s support I actually enjoyed taking part and can’t wait to do my next run and beat my previous time! Something I never thought I’d say! Thanks again for all your support Kelly and I’m looking forward to achieving my next fitness goal with your training!

Scott came to me for personal training initially, when I was working at the RICC (lifestyle gym) personal training back in 2019. He was a keen runner and attended a local running club. He also attended group training sessions with various instructors at the RICC studio, as part of his gym membership.

His sessions at first were on and off, but that’s when I first meet Scott. He was seemingly shy and quiet but eager to improve, progress and gave everything his best shot. It’s never been about Scott’s fitness levels or losing weight with Scott, it’s always been more to do with his eagerness to learn and improve his technique. It was during the first lockdown when some of the restrictions were lifted and I was aloud to do one-to-one PT sessions outside that Scott’s training with me really took off.

The Gyms were still closed and group sessions were unable to take place, so Scott found himself using PT sessions with me as a replacement. I’ve enjoyed my personal training sessions with Scott. His strength has improved along with his technique. He is now back to running with his club and gyms are again open. We are back to one of sporadic sessions. But I know our paths will continue to cross at Zumba classes, running and gym sessions. It’s been a pleasure getting to know him. He is actually a lively, fun big hearted character once he gets to know you. Shy he is not ! Long may his motivation continue, it’s been an interesting energising journey so far.

Absolutely brilliant training session today with this lovely young lady Shannon. Who has become my fitness fashion Guru because she never fails to rock up to every training session in a super colour coordinated outfit looking amazing, whist also being full of enthusiasm and positive energy. Love training you Shannon you always manage to make me smile.

This is another one of my superb clients Ronnie who is doing so well improving his fitness.

In October 2019, I met this shy, lovely young lady Laura Rowe. A 26 year old website designer, now 27 soon to be 28. She came to me looking for a personal trainer to help her loose weight and get fitter.

Laura was one of my first PT client’s and I had much to learn about being a good Personal trainer. Motivating and inspiring others to actively take part in planned exercise is not as easy as it might sound.

Laura has not only managed to keep her fitness regime up, being completely successful at it, she has done it whilst going through one of the biggest life changing choices someone could make, becoming a woman.

As much as Laura, being the sweet sensitive person she is, is always singing my praises and many others that have helped to support her. Emma Bowden’s Grapevine ,Tania Hindom and all the beautiful souls that attend our group sessions.

 It’s Laura herself that deserves some praise. Because as much as you think I’ve helped you Laura you’ve helped me. You’ve shown me courage, bravery and resilience in the face of adversity. You’ve shown me how to become ones true self no matter what and how it’s possible to stay positive, kind and good when life has thrown you a curve ball and dealt you the wrong card somehow. I’m proud to be your trainer, friend and part of your life’s journey.

This is what I love about my job. Witnessing first hand as people achieve their goals. This young lady wanted to gain some strength. She went from struggling to do push-ups on her knees to full press-ups. There is always room for improvement and technique can always be improved on. However this was wonderful to witness. ❤️


Hi, I’m Laura

As a new year’s resolution, I decided that
I would like to lose weight this year and go on a well balanced diet, So I
searched up on Google “Personal Trainer in Torquay” and it came up with Kelly
Saunders Fitness, so I contacted her and with Kelly’s help, I have managed to
lose 4 stone since the start of January this year with her.

I have had a lot of help with learning new
exercises and getting inspired into new forms of exercise, including Cardio,
Weights, Cycling, Running, Yoga, Zumba and Step Classes, This has come all new
to me as I have never been into exercise, and with a new enthusiasm, I plan to
do a half marathon next year with her ,Kelly has also helped with planning
healthier meals for Breakfast, Lunch and Tea and keeping my spirits, enthusiasm
and dedication up.

I would Whole Hartley recommend her to
anyone 100%,not only have I achieved more than I wanted to, I have made a great
friend too.
